Congratulations to Mary O’Flaherty who achieved her first ever certificate in education.
In November 2023, Mary was awarded her QQI Level 2 certificate for Computer Skills by Máirín Kenny, Adult Education Officer.
Mary left school at a young age and worked all her life. After she retired, she decided it was time to return to education. She started off by joining a Beginner Computer class and a Read/Write/Spell class to improve her skills. In January 2024, Mary completed QQI Level 3 Computers and is waiting to receive her certificate.
She is now studying QQI Level 4 Information Technology and continues to attend Read/Write/Spell classes.
Mary is enjoying every minute of her time in Ballymun Adult Education Centre. The staff and students in Ballymun are delighted to share in her success.
